Annual club membership is from
January 1st through December 31st.
Annual membership fee is
$30.00 for all members. Membership includes spouse and
children through age 17. Family members of age 18 years or older must have
their own membership.
Any member may be expelled
from the club for poor sportsmanship, unbecoming conduct, violation of club
rules, or action considered by the Board of Directors to be detrimental to
the welfare of the Portage Rod and Gun Club.
Shooting hours are from 8:00
AM until dusk.
The pistol and rifle ranges
are open to members only.
Non-members are allowed to
shoot trap only when the clubhouse is open.
Any non-member who uses either
the rifle or pistol ranges, or attempts to hunt on club property will be
subject to the State of Wisconsin Trespass law.
Absolutely no shooting of
glass, plastic containers, aluminum, or other metal objects will be
tolerated. The earth backstops are to be used whenever shooting single
projectiles.
Any person who deliberately
shoots at or otherwise destroys property of the club will have their
membership taken and brought before the Board of Disciplinary Action.
Absolutely no pets are allowed
inside the clubhouse at any time.
